Overview
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) lets you follow websites without visiting each one individually. TomYaYa's RSS reader brings all your content into one place:
- Subscribe to blogs, news sites, and podcasts
- Organize feeds into folders
- Read offline
- Filter and search across all subscriptions
Quick Start
Step 1: Open RSS Reader
Click the RSS tile on the TomYaYa dashboard or select RSS from the sidebar.
Step 2: Add Your First Feed
Click Add Feed and enter a URL. You can use:
- Direct RSS/Atom feed URLs
- Website URLs (TomYaYa auto-discovers feeds)
- Search for feeds by topic
Step 3: Organize into Folders
Create folders to organize feeds by topic:
- News
- Technology
- Entertainment
- Work
Step 4: Read Articles
Click any article to read in the built-in reader. Features include:
- Clean, distraction-free reading view
- Save articles for later
- Share to social media or email
- Mark as read/unread
Finding RSS Feeds
Many sites support RSS even without advertising it:
- Try adding
/feedor/rssto any website URL - Look for the RSS icon in browser address bar
- Use TomYaYa's feed discovery feature
Keyboard Shortcuts
- J/K - Next/previous article
- Space - Scroll/next article
- S - Star/save article
- M - Mark as read
- V - Open in browser
